Naughty Dog has released a new update 2.0.0 for The Last of Us Part II Remastered, bringing fresh content to the No Return mode along with several gameplay refinements and bug fixes. Patch 2.0.0 introduces two new playable characters, Bill and Marlene, each with their own challenges and unlockable skins. Additionally, four new maps have been added, expanding the variety of environments players can encounter in the roguelike survival mode.
Beyond No Return, the update includes a new Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet cosmetic for Ellie and multiple technical improvements, particularly for PlayStation 5 Pro users. Naughty Dog has also addressed various gameplay issues, including weapon visibility glitches, AI behavior inconsistencies, and minor localization errors.
