The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword file size has been revealed. It is considerably larger than the Wii version that was released for the Nintendo Wii U.

Nintendo has announced an HD release for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for the Nintendo Wii U. This will come with an update to the game’s visuals and support for analog controls in addition to motion controls. It will be available to purchase from the Nintendo eShop for $59.99 or £49.99.

Ahead of the release of the game on July 16, 2021, the file size has been listed on the Nintendo eShop. It is roughly 7.5 to 7.7 GB as per the listing seen on the eShop.

How does this compare to the Nintendo Wii version? The file size of the Wii version is under 4 GB so this is considerably larger, almost twice the size of the original game.

Here is a description of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD that is taken from the listing on the Nintendo eShop.
