Watch Dogs Legion Runs at 4K/30 FPS with Ray Tracing On PS5 and XSX, Will Get Cross-Play Update

Watch Dogs Legion is confirmed to run at 4K and 30 FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series X. Cross-play is also coming in an update post-launch.

The game will be out on October 29. It is also confirmed to get a free upgrade to PS5 and Xbox Series X for those who purchase it on the current generation consoles. Lathieeshe Thillainathan, the Live Producer on WD: Legion, has recently answered some questions about the game in a reddit AMA.

Lathieeshe Thillainathan has confirmed that the game will run at 4K, 30 FPS, and with Ray Tracing on PS5 and Xbox Series X. He clarified that the single-player is offline but some of the features won’t be accessible. “Single player can be played offline. but you won’t be able to see all the community photos. take in game pictures and share them out.”

Cross-play is also coming in an update during Year 1 of Watch Dogs Legion. “Watch dogs legion online will have cross progression across all our platform at launch. Cross play we are planning as an update in year 1, ” said the producer.

Recently, the file size of the game was also confirmed. It appears to be the largest game in the series in terms of the file size, but as far as the content is concerned, we have to wait and see until the game launches to get a better idea.

The game is currently set to launch on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, on October 29, 2020. It will be released for PS5 and Xbox Series X at launch while those with a current-generation copy will be able to get a free upgrade to the next-generation consoles.
