Xbox and Bethesda Showcase Set to be Around 90 Minutes in Duration

Xbox and Bethesda are all set to hold a showcase event that will feature upcoming games for Xbox platforms and PC on June 12 at 10 a.m P.T. In addition to games from Xbox Game Studios and Bethesda, the event will also feature third-party games from partnering studios across the world.

Eager fans have been curious about the duration of the event, as it would hint at the breadth of games that will be showcased. If one adds the event invite to their calendar, the duration of the event shows up as 90 minutes. Given the large number of first-party studios that may have games to show, 90 minutes is a believable duration.

The 90-minute showcase will cover all you need to know about the broad roster of games coming to the Xbox ecosystem in the near future, including forthcoming Game Pass releases on Xbox and PC. Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI are two games that are likely to be announced during this event.

While Starfield is scheduled to be released this November for Xbox Series X/S and PC, The Elder Scrolls VI is still early in production and is likely to have a smaller presence at the event, with a teaser trailer of some sort. In addition to Wolfenstein, The Evil Within, and a whole new Indiana Jones game are currently in development at Wolfenstein developer Machine Games, Bethesda also has a number of other IPs that may make an appearance.

A character artist working at Bethesda previously shared some tidbits regarding the game. He mentioned that the engine was a little problematic and that weekly playtests were underway. He also mentioned that there will be flyable starships, but the feature needed more work. Lastly, he mentioned that some content may have to be cut in order to meet the release date.

The Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase will be broadcast in over 30 languages on a multitude of platforms.
