Games Coming To Xbox Game Pass In August 2024

The alleged partial list of Xbox Game Pass Games for wave 1 of August, 2024 are as follows:

  • Sopa: Tale of the Stolen Potato – August 6
  • Creatures of Ava – August 7
  • Crash N Sane Trilogy – August 8

Prominently featured in July’s Xbox Game Pass catalogue update is Mafia: Definitive Edition, a remake of the 2002’s Mafia. Like the original, the remake is set in the fictional city of Lost Heaven, Illinois, during the 1930s, and follows the story of Tommy Angelo, a Sicilian American cab driver who becomes a gangster in the Salieri crime family. The game features an open world, and players can choose to explore Lost Heaven when not engaged in missions that further the story. The gameplay is based on 2016’s Mafia III, with improved mission dynamics and the addition of motorcycles. The game was released for PS4, PC, and Xbox One on September 25, 2020, both individually and as part of the Mafia: Trilogy pack.

Another game featured on the list is Crash N Sane Trilogy, a 2017 platformer compilation developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Activision. It includes remasters of the first three games in the Crash Bandicoot series: Crash Bandicoot (1996), Cortex Strikes Back (1997), and Warped (1998), originally developed by Naughty Dog for the PlayStation. Initially released for the PlayStation 4, it was later ported to Nintendo Switch, Windows, and Xbox One in 2018.
