Xbox Game Pass to Lose Multiple Like A Dragon and Persona Games This November

by Salal Awan

Sega is set to remove several major Like A Dragon games, along with Persona 5 Tactica, from Xbox Game Pass in November.

According to recent updates on Xbox Game Pass, visible on the official app or Microsoft Store, Sega appears to be pulling its games as their contract with Microsoft approaches its end. The Game Pass library currently includes most of the Like A Dragon series, except for the recent title Infinite Wealth. Sega has also been adding mainline Persona games to the service, though these are now gradually being removed.

The first confirmed title leaving the platform next month is Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. This game, a spin-off set between Yakuza: Like A Dragon, Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, and Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth, follows Kiryu Kazama and explores his story after the events of these titles.

The next major title set to leave by November 15 is Like A Dragon: Ishin. This 18th-century Japan-set spin-off was initially released only in Japan for the PS3 without English localization. However, the recent remake brought the game to Western audiences with full English localization.

For Persona fans, Sega will also be removing Persona 5 Tactica from Xbox Game Pass in mid-November. This tactical RPG spin-off of Persona 5 brings back popular characters and extends the original storyline, similar to Persona 5 Strikers.

Here is the full list of games leaving Xbox Game Pass by November 15, 2024:

  • Like A Dragon: Ishin
  • Persona 5 Tactica
  • Somerville
