According to Eurogamer, who confirmed this news from their own source, Activision will officially announce the game on May 30. They also have a panel to discuss this new Call of Duty scheduled for E3 2019.

Modern Warfare 4 has been rumored since the start of this year. It was going to be in a bundle with a remaster of Modern Warfare 2, which has been leaked through a listing by PEGI. This new update on Call of Duty comes from a more concrete source and while it confirms a fresh Modern Warfare, it is not exactly a new game either.

Infinity Ward was always next in line to make the next Call of Duty game after Treyarch Studios released Black Ops 4 last year. Apparently, they will be back again next year with a new Black Ops in 2020 as Sledgehammer Games has been taken off from their Call of Duty game and neglected to support Treyarch Studios on their project along with Raven Software.
