Previously, it was revealed that the Dead Space remake will feature less violence compared to The Callisto Protocol, based on the respective ratings received by both games from the Australian Classification Board.
Third-person sci-fi horror shooter Dead Space is a remake of the original game from 2008. The year is 2058, and Isaac Clarke is searching for his girlfriend, a doctor who once worked on the mining spaceship USG Ishimura, when he discovers that it has been taken over by Necromorph aliens.
The remake is developed using the Frostbite Engine, with all the systems being rebuilt from the ground up and new graphical features, like volumetric and dynamic lighting, being added. The game will also benefit from the solid-state drive systems found in newer consoles to provide a seamless transition between levels without the need for loading screens.
