Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition Will Run at 4K/60 FPS Without RT, 4K/30 FPS With RT

Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition will run at 4K/60 FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series X without Ray-Tracing, while it will run at 4K/30 FPS with Ray-Tracing.

Capcom has confirmed the resolution and frame rate for Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition on PS5 and Xbox Series X. The game is also supporting Ray-Tracing at 4K with a choice of either playing at 4K at 30 FPS or 1080p at 60 FPS. The second option is without Ray-Tracing, which leads to a performance of 4K at 60 FPS or up to 120 FPS.

Here are the different resolution and frame rate modes for Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition on PS5 and Xbox Series X.

  • 4K/30fps with Ray Tracing ON
  • 1080p/60fps with Ray Tracing ON
  • 4K/60fps with Ray Tracing OFF
  • Up to 120fps with Ray Tracing OFF

This was confirmed amidst the news of games like Watch Dogs Legion running at 4K at 30 FPS on the PS5 and Xbox Series X with no option to run the game at 60 FPS.

DMC 5: Special Edition is exclusive to the next-generation of consoles. It will be released for the PS5 and Xbox Series X while the Vergil DLC which is part of the Special Edition can also be bought separately for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
