Edge Magazine’s latest issue is out now and it has reviews for games including Death Stranding, Shenmue III, and much more. Get the review scores from here.
Back when Death Stranding first launched for the PS4 in early November, Edge Magazine was one of the few outlets who didn’t have a review out for it. The person who was in charge of reviewing Death Stranding cited a lack of enthusiasm for finishing it and hence there was no review score or a general review at all.
Fast forward to January and two issues have come out since the controversy with the lack of Death Stranding review, and it seems to have been resolved as Edge has finally reviewed the game.
The review score for Death Stranding is not as bad as most would have expected after seeing the criticism against it. It was given an average score of 6 which is pretty good for Edge Magazine’s review standard.
These review scores are given from a scale of 10. You can have a look at the review scores in Edge Magazine’s issue #339 and #340 which cover games like Pokémon Sword and Shield, The Outer Worlds, and Gears of War 5.
Death Stranding is the first project from Hideo Kojima that he created after leaving Konami and Metal Gear Sold behind. It is a brand new IP that was developed by Kojima after establishing his own Kojima Productions studio in collaboration with Sony Interactive Entertainment and Guerrilla Games.
