Ubisoft’s new Far Cry game has leaked ahead of The Game Awards. There is not much about it so far aside from the post-apocalyptic setting and a short teaser.

Far Cry: New Dawn is apparently set right after the ending of Far Cry 5. This is seen with the short teaser that shows the ending of Far Cry 5. If you haven’t’ finished it, avoid reading further to not spoil the end.

Far Cry 5 ended with the main protagonist running away with the villain to a secluded location while the entire world was doomed due to a nuclear bomb that kickstarted a war in the world. The teaser for this new Far Cry game shows the Nuclear explosion thus hinting it is set after Far Cry 5.

Far Cry: New Dawn cover art was leaked earlier and can be viewed below. It shows two new female protagonists along with what looks like the same villain as Far Cry 5. However, it is all pure speculation for now and once official announcement happens, we will get more details about this new project.

Far Cry: New Dawn will also support the enhanced features of the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro. The game is being developed by Ubisoft who will also publish it worldwide, presumably for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
