Final Fantasy VII Remake will get new content announcements during the Orchestra Concert that will be held on February 13 according to Square Enix.
Last week, Square Enix shared various messages from the developers of Final Fantasy VII Remake including the game’s producer Yoshinori Kitase. In one of these messages, it was speculated that there is a teaser for the PC version which has been rumored as one of the announcements during the concert.
Another new message has been uploaded today by Square Enix, and this time it is from Motomu Toriyama. He has worked as the event director for Final Fantasy VII Remake. In his message, which was translated by aikaitimochi, he talked about new content for the Final Fantasy VII Remake.
“There will be a special part of the concert where I’ll make an appearance and talk about a few FF7R contents to be revealed only during this event, so please tune in!, ” said Toriyama in the video message.
It has been rumored for a while that Square Enix is working on a PS5 upgrade for the Final Fantasy 7 Remake. In addition, the timed exclusivity for the PS4 version is due to expire in April and there are rumors of a PC port announced along with the PS5 upgrade.
While we don’t have any official confirmation on what new content will be announced at the orchestra concert which is due on February 13 and will be live streamed online, if we go by the rumors, there might new story content in addition to a PS5 upgrade and a port for the PC version.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake was released back in April 2020 and it was one of the best-selling PS4 exclusives of last year. The game was directed by Tetsuya Nomura and co-directed by Naoki Hamaguchi. The developers are currently working on the sequel.
