Grounded is a different experience from what Obsidian Entertainment has usually worked on in the past. It is a multiplayer-centric game with a focus on exploring the world and surviving in it.

The first gameplay footage for Grounded was debuted at PAX East during a PAX East panel by the developers. It has been recorded and uploaded on YouTube. You can get a glimpse at the game from the footage shown here.

From the footage, the game looks interesting and fun to play based solely on its premise. It offers a unique exploration by shrinking down humans to the size of insects. The art style evokes the feeling of an animated film that suits this gameplay style.
