The Extra and Premium tiers of Sony Interactive Entertainment’s premium game subscription service, PS Plus, are currently on sale.
PlayStation Network users across various regions have reported that a PS Plus sale is currently underway, with savings of up to 35% on the Extra and Premium tiers. First-time subscribers can get 25% off on an annual PS Plus Extra subscription and 35% off on an annual PS Plus Premium subscription. The offer will remain available to PlayStation users from today, January 22, 2025, to February 4, 2025.
While the Extra and Premium offer is undoubtedly worthwhile to those who have never subscribed to either of the PS Plus tiers, existing subscribers get the rough end of the stick. The loyal user base ought to have received some incentive in order to remain subscribed to either PS Plus tier. Unfortunately, however, that is not the case this time around. The latest additions to PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers include include God of War Ragnarök, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, Atlas Fallen: Reign Of Sand, SD Gundam Battle Alliance, Sayonara Wild Hearts, ANNO: Mutationem, Orcs Must Die 3, and Citizen Sleeper, Poker Club, and Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings.
Meanwhile, the games set to leave PS Plus Extra next month in February, 2025, include The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition, Tales of Arise, Tales of Zestiria, Tales of Symphonia Remastered, Tales of Vesperia: Definite Edition, Outriders, Scarlet Nexus, and Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition. This is the last chance for new and existing PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers to show these games some love before they leave the service. Subscribers can always view the “Last Chance to play section” on the PlayStation Plus Collections page on PS5, or the Games Catalogue section in the PlayStation Plus menu on PS4, for games they may be interested in checking out before they leave the service.
