PUBG To Get 60 FPS Support For PS4 Pro and Xbox One X

PUBG will get a new update for PS4 Pro and Xbox One X that will enable the game to run at 1080p at 60 FPS. It is currently live on the public test server.

PUBG developer has confirmed that they are planning to release an update for the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X users that will enable support for 60 FPS but at a reduced resolution of 1080p.

“The Framerate Priority setting has some exciting changes this time around. The frame cap is now lifted to 60 FPS and the screen resolution will be set to 1920 x 1080 to increase framerates, ” says the developer in the blog post. “The new Framerate Priority is available on Xbox One X and the PlayStation 4 Pro, and we are investigating ways to bring the lifted frame cap to other console devices as well. Stay tuned.”

PUBG public test server has been updated version 1.17 on PS4. It should have also received an update on the Xbox One. The changes are live on the public test server version of the game and will be rolled out to the full game once the testing phase ends.

To download this public test server on Xbox One, you need to own a copy of PUBG and then search and download the “PUBG – Public Test Server” on the Microsoft Store or in your games library.

To download this public test server on PS4, head to your library and look for “PUBG – Public Test Server” in the ‘Purchased’ section of your Library.
