Resident Evil 2 Has Sold More Than Two Million Copies On Steam

Resident Evil 2 is one of the fastest-selling games in the series. It has now sold more than two million copies on Steam out of approximately six million.

Resident Evil 2 Remake launched in January last year and has continued to do well. It has shown solid legs and with a multiplatform launch, the sales for the game are continuing to increase with updates released across every quarter.

The last known update for Resident Evil 2 Remake puts the sales of the game at 5.8 million, which it achieved in under one year. This is an impressive result since the sales of the game are tracking higher than Resident Evil 7 during a similar time frame. It is also on pace to outsell Resident Evil 7, 6, and 5. The best selling game in the series is Resident Evil 5, which has sold 7.6 million units.

Resident Evil 2 Remake is also selling well on Steam. Out of the 5.8 million sales for the game, Steam users account for approximately two million according to SteamSpy. This is an estimate and shouldn’t be taken as an official sales number for the PC version. It is also the best selling game in the series on Steam.

Resident Evil 2 Remake is the only game in the series to achieve more than two million sales. It has outsold Resident Evil 4, 5, and 6, all three of which have sold more than one million copies on Steam.

One of the reasons the game is successful on Steam is due to the quality of the PC version. The game has an overwhelmingly positive reception on Steam. There are more than 35 thousand reviews leading to this overwhelming positive score on Steam. It shows that users are quite satisfied with the PC version and this is also helping the game sell better on Steam.
