Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is the next release by From Software and it is one of the most anticipated games of this year. Despite that, and after all the positive press it has received, there won’t be any Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice review available before launch.
According to several outlets including a popular YouTuber, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice review copies won’t be given before it launches on March 22, 2019. This means that there is no review embargo for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and while Activision will send review copies (TwistedVoxel has requested one as well), they are not going to send one before the launch of the game.
This might be a cause of concern for a game that didn’t look good or had noticeable issues before launch. It won’t be the case for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice though because the game has received nothing but positive praise from the press so far.

As for the reason why Activision is not sending early review copies, it is still a mystery that only they can answer for now. It doesn’t have to do with the quality of the game though knowing how consistent From Software has been with their most recent games, but perhaps it was done to avoid leaks of the game spreading online.
