The Evil Within will be one of the many games that will be added to the Xbox Game Pass. A listing for the Windows version is now up on the Microsoft Store.
The Evil Within is one of the games that was never released on Game Pass. Neither the original game nor its sequel was made available to Game Pass subscribers. This could change soon as a new Windows version has been found on the Microsoft Store with a release date of March 12. This coincides with an earlier announcement by Microsoft which teased more Bethesda Games coming to Game Pass.
Today, Microsoft confirmed that their acquisition of Bethesda is coming and some of the games developed by Bethesda will now release exclusively for Xbox and PC in addition to Game Pass. They also teased more Bethesda games that will be added to the subscription service.
The Evil Within is surely one of the games based on the Microsoft Store listing, but the following list could offer another possibility on what is being added to the service later this week.
- The Evil Within
- The Evil Within 2
- DOOM 3 BFG Edition
- Dishonored: Definitive Edition
- Dishonored: Death of the Outsider
- The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
- The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
The Evil Within also had some post-launch DLC in addition to a sequel. It is unclear if Microsoft is planning to bring the DLC in addition to the full game to Game Pass, but the Windows Store version does include all of the season pass content that featured The Assignment, The Consequence, and The Executioner packs.
