WWE 2K25 Pre-Load Date & Download Size Revealed

The pre-load date and download size for 2K and Visual Concepts’ upcoming professional wrestling sports game, WWE 2K25, have been revealed.

PlayStationSize on Twitter/X has revealed the pre-load date and download size for WWE 2K25 on PS4 and PS5, courtesy of recent database entries made to PlayStation servers. The professional wrestling title will take up a significant amount of storage space. Those with limited available space on the internal storage drive are advised to clear up some space in advance. It goes without saying that storage expansion options are available for those who need them.

The pre-load for WWE 2K25 on PS4 and PS5 will come with the latest update i.e. version1.02/1.002.000, pre-installed for anyone who pre-ordered a digital copy of the game, though a day one update may be rolled out closer to the early access release on March 7, 2025, or full launch on March 14, 2025. Meanwhile, those who purchased it on disc will need to download the update. Those who pre-ordered the Deadman/Bloodline Edition will be able to pre-load on March 5, 2025, and those who pre-ordered the Standard Edition will be able to pre-load on March 12, 2025.

The review embargo for WWE 2K25 is expected to be lifted close to launch day. While the exact time has not been confirmed, it will likely follow typical patterns, with the embargo lifting at 12 AM PT / 3 AM ET / 9 AM CET.

WWE 2K25 is the eleventh title under the WWE 2K branding, and the follow-up to WWE 2K24. It is scheduled for release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
