Edge Magazine Issue#331 Review Scores: Crackdown 3 Scores Higher Than Anthem

Edge Magazine Issue#331 is out now reviewing some of the most recent games that were released including Devil May Cry 5, Crackdown 3, Anthem, and Far Cry: New Dawn.

Edge Magazine Issue#330 review scores covered Resident Evil 2, Kingdom Hearts 3, among others. This new issue covers all of the major games from February and early March.

Here are the Edge Magazine Issue#331 review scores in no particular order.

  • Anthem – 4
  • Devil May Cry 5 – 9
  • Crackdown 3 – 5
  • The Occupation – 6
  • Trials Rising – 8
  • Far Cry: New Dawn – 6
  • Dead or Alive 6 – 5
  • Hypnospace Outlaw – 8
  • Devotion – 9

Anthem has been given a much lower score than Crackdown 3 given the broken state of the game. It was full of bugs and glitches and also suffered from a major issue where the game was shutting down consoles.

Crackdown 3 is not faring that well and has been critically panned by almost everyone. It thankfully seems to avoid the buggy nature that Anthem suffers from hence the better score for it.

Edge is quite a harsh critic so their review scores are usually lower than most other outlets on average. Devil May Cry 5 getting a 9 from Edge is a testament to the quality of the game, which led to the second best launch for Capcom on Steam, and it has already sold two million copies worldwide.
