Call of the Sea is out now for Xbox One and Xbox Series and this appears to be a rather demanding game that runs at 1440p on Series X.
Call of the Sea is a story-driven adventure game played through a first-person view. The game is not only enhanced for the Xbox One X but also offers next-generation support for the Xbox Series consoles. It runs at 60 FPS on both consoles but with a caveat that the resolution is lower.

In the case of the Xbox Series S, the game runs at 60 FPS with a dynamic 1080p resolution and overall lower visual quality. It can drop down to 900p as well.
In the case of the Xbox Series X, the game runs at 60 FPS but with 1440p resolution, which is similar to Yakuza: Like a Dragon. In other words, it sacrifices 4K resolution to run at a better frame rate, yet drops are happening on the Series X.
Overall, while this might feel like an indie game at first, it can be demanding based on this technical comparison. Call of the Sea is available on the PC and Xbox consoles. There is no confirmation on whether the developers are planning to bring this game to the PlayStation consoles for now, but expect it to offer a similar performance if this eventually arrives on other platforms.
Call of the Sea was released on December 8 for Xbox and PC. The game also launched on Xbox Game Pass and can be played if you have an active subscription for it.
