In its review of Hellblade 2, Edge states that the game alternates between being breathtaking and frustrating, with equal parts of eye-rolling and awe-inspiring moments. While it features some visual splendor, the player’s involvement in these segments often feels minimal and unimportant. According to the magazine, for extended periods, it feels more like watching someone else play the game, with only brief, reluctant opportunities to assume control.

As for Still Wakes The Deep, the publication stated that its 6-hour journey keeps players hooked for the most part, whether the protagonist is chatting or creeping around the dark laundry room before fleeing from a dangerous fiend.

Regarding Homeworld 3, Edge stated that the game didn’t fully live up to its expectations. While it ranges from competent to exceptional and shows signs of being crafted with care, it remains overshadowed by the legacy of its predecessors. Even if all its flaws were fixed, one might still question whether it could ever have been considered good enough.
