Epic Games Store June 6 Mystery Game Leaked: A Popular Marvel Title
The 4th and final mystery game on the Epic Games Store that will be available for free on June 6, 2024, as part of its Mega Sale giveaway is Marvel’s Midnight Suns. In order to claim your free copy, you’ll need to create an Epic Games Store account in case you don’t already have one.
According to Dealabs, which is known for leaking games that are scheduled to be added to a variety of game subscription services, the June 6, 2024, mystery game on the Epic Games Store is Marvel’s Midnight Suns. Those who haven’t redeemed this week’s mystery title, Chivalry 2, can do so until June 6, 2024.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns will be offered as next week’s mystery game from June 6, 2024 to June 13, 2024. This will conclude the AAA mystery games offer on the Epic Games Store this year. If you’ve been redeeming each of the games offered for free on the digital storefront, you’re likely already set for the summer with 4 AAA titles to play.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns is a tactical role-playing game developed by Firaxis Games and published by 2K in 2022. It features characters from several Marvel Comics series like Midnight Sons, Avengers, X-Men, and Runaways. Players can create a superhero named “The Hunter” and choose from over 40 different powers. The game was released on December 2, 2022, for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S, and on May 11, 2023, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A planned Nintendo Switch version was later canceled.
Combat is turn-based, similar to Firaxis Games’ XCOM series, and incorporates deck-building elements like in Slay the Spire. Each hero, including The Hunter, has a customizable deck of eight cards. Before each mission, players select three heroes, combining their decks into one for the mission at hand. The cards represent abilities that affect either enemies or the player’s heroes, and heroes can also move or interact with objects in addition to attacking.
