Sony has confirmed that GTA 6 will be PS5 Pro Enhanced at launch, according to updated information published on the official PlayStation Store.
The PlayStation Store listing for Rockstar Games’ upcoming title now includes a PS5 Pro Enhanced label, confirming that the game will support Sony’s upgraded console when it releases on November 19, 2026.
An official FAQ page accompanying the listing also answers several questions about the game and its launch plans. When asked whether Grand Theft Auto VI includes multiplayer modes or features, Sony states: “Grand Theft Auto VI is a single-player experience.”
The PlayStation Store page further highlights several PlayStation 5-specific features. Sony says players will experience responsive haptic feedback through the DualSense controller, with vibrations reacting to player actions and environmental effects across Leonida and Vice City.
The game will also support Tempest 3D Audio, which Sony says provides more accurate audio positioning throughout the world. In addition, the DualSense controller’s integrated speaker will be used for selected in-game interactions and sound effects.
The listing confirms that Grand Theft Auto VI will only be available on PlayStation 5 and is not playable on PlayStation 4. It also notes support for vibration and adaptive trigger effects, offline play, Remote Play functionality, and a single-player mode for one player.
Sony has also detailed a pre-order promotion for digital purchases of Grand Theft Auto VI. Players who pre-order either the Standard or Ultimate Edition through PlayStation Store before November 20, 2026, can claim one month of GTA+ at no additional cost. The offer must be redeemed by March 31, 2027, and is available in all PlayStation Store regions except Bahrain, China, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Russia, and Taiwan.
