Multiple listings, including those for a Physics Simulation Programmer, Systems Programmer, Environment Designer, and Game Design Manager, explicitly reference the development of a new title in Unreal Engine 5. The listings also identify PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC as target platforms, indicating that a Nintendo Switch 2 version is currently not planned.

The qualifications listed for several animation and rigging positions mention experience with destruction effects, debris, cloth physics, and Unreal Engine’s Control Rig system, indicating that physics will have a major influence on gameplay, possibly via destructible environments and/or a high level of interactivity. Furthermore, positions for Senior Character Artist, Senior Animator, Technical Animator, and Rigging Artist point to a strong focus on expressive characters, advanced animation systems, facial animation, and cinematic presentation. Meanwhile, the Game Design Manager listing specifically highlights expertise in 3D action game mechanics, including jumping and camera control systems.

Back in June, 2025, Tango Gameworks revealed a fresh logo on its new website. The studio had faced closure by previous parent company Microsoft a year earlier and was subsequently acquired by Krafton on August 12, 2024. The studio opened its new site to give its fans and future team members a look into its philosophy as well as see featurettes from members of the team. The company’s new logo and branding is said to be focused on what it feels like to make a game. The development team’s vision is focused on a studio that acts like a creative workshop, making games and experiences that emphasize a “hand-made” feel that it puts into its work.
