Prominently featured in this month’s Humble Choice Bundle offering is Risk of Rain 2, a roguelike third-person shooter developed by Hopoo Games and published by Gearbox Publishing. It is a sequel to 2013’s Risk of Rain. The game was initially released in early access for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in 2019, with a full release in August 2020 and a subsequent release for Stadia in September 2020. Players control a survivor stranded on an alien planet. In order to survive, they can explore different environments, defeat monsters, and loot chests to collect items that enhance their offensive and defensive abilities. The game’s difficulty gradually increases, introducing more powerful enemies over time. It supports online multiplayer for up to four players.
