Marvel’s Avengers is not based on the movie contrary to what it might imply with its name. The story begins during A-Day when Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, and Iron Man are unveiling a new Avengers headquarters. They are attacked by their enemies which leads to massive devastation of the city and starts a chain of events that disbands the Avengers.

Square Enix also dropped the curtain on the star-studded voice cast for Marvel’s Avengers that includes many big names.

Jeff Schine takes the mantle as the super-soldier, Captain America, Travis Willingham delivers a more-than-worthy performance for Thor Odinson, the God of Thunder, and Troy Baker brings the personality of Bruce Banner to life. Laura Bailey is the ultimate tactical spy, Black Widow, and Nolan North suits up as the charismatic Iron Man, Tony Stark

You can see the cast talking about playing their favorite superhero in a video that was shared by the developers.

Marvel’s Avengers will be out on May 15, 2020, for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia. It has an original story based on the Avengers and will also offer four-player online co-op where the narrative will be delivered over the next multiple years.
