Marvel’s Spider-Man: Here are the Patch Notes For Today’s Update

Marvel’s Spider-Man has received its update version 1.16 today and the earlier teased suits from Spider-Man: Far From Home have made it to the game with this new update.

Earlier today, Insomniac Games confirmed the inclusion of two new suits for Marvel’s Spider-Man that were taken from the newly released Spider-Man: Far From Home movie which is running in theatres worldwide. They are the Stealth Suit and the Upgraded Suit.

After the announcement, the update 1.16 was released for Marvel’s Spider-Man. It has a file size of 350 MB and carries the following set of patch notes.

New features

  • Added the Upgraded Suit and Stealth Suit

After the addition of these two new suits, the total count has jumped to 42 from the previously available 40. This includes roughly 33 costumes that were available at launch or given free with an update and 9 of them were available as part of the season pass DLC. Every episodic DLC has added at least three new suits to the game.

On the official PlayStation Blog, Insomniac Games talked about this new update and confirmed that the suits can be accessed once you have crafted your own Advanced Suit after passing a certain point in the story.

Insomniac Games developed Marvel’s Spider-Man in collaboration with Marvel. Sony Interactive Entertainment published the game exclusively for the PS4. It has also received a season pass that included three different episodic DLC featuring the various other Spider-Man characters like Black Cat, Silver Sable, and Hammerhead.

After launching in September last year, the game turned out to be the fastest selling first-party game for Sony Interactive Entertainment, surpassing the record set by God of War.
