The insider referenced content creator ScrambledFaz‘s post on Twitter/X, in which the latter showed ‘Who Is’ data for the web domain ‘p4re.jp‘. As per the details, the domain was created very recently on March 20, 2025, suggesting that an announcement may be happening soon.

The Nintendo Switch 2 Direct is coming up on April 2, 2025, and it’s possible that Persona 4 remake will make an appearance during the presentation. The console maker undoubtedly has major third-party partner announcements lined up for its show alongside its first-party reveals, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see Atlus’ involvement.

Adding to the speculation, Persona 4 vocalist Shihoko Hirata recently revealed that she has been recording a theme song for an unannounced game. She shared an Instagram post from MIT Studio in Tokyo, a location known for recording Persona soundtracks, including Persona 5 Strikers. Fans also noticed that she liked comments referencing Persona 4, hinting that her work could be connected to the rumored remake. She described the recording process as challenging, expressing nervousness about the performance but maintaining a positive outlook. Furthermore, a known Persona and Sega leaker, Head on the Block (formerly Im A Hero Too), previously claimed that Persona 4 was set to receive a full remake, while Persona 2 would be remastered. Atlus has yet to make an official statement regarding these projects.

Originally released in 2008 for the PlayStation 2, Persona 4 follows a high school student who relocates to a rural town, only to become involved in solving a series of mysterious murders.
