Star Wars Outlaws Review Embargo Details Revealed
Details regarding the review embargo for Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment’s upcoming action-adventure game, Star Wars Outlaws, have been revealed.
The review embargo for Star Wars Outlaws is expected to be lifted in less than a week, on Monday, August 26, 2024, at 5 am PT / 2 pm CET. This is four days ahead of the game’s launch on August 30, 2024. Fans can, therefore, look forward to hearing what critics have to say about Kay Vess’ adventure as she assembles a team for a massive heist in order to pay off a crime syndicate.
Additionally, the pre-load for Star Wars Outlaws is expected to go live on the PlayStation Store two days prior to launch, and two days after the review embargo will be lifted i.e. August 28, 2024. It will come with the latest update pre-installed for those who pre-ordered a digital copy of the game, though a day one update may be rolled out closer to launch on August 30, 2024. Meanwhile, those who purchased a physical copy of the game will need to download the day one update.
Furthermore, the download size of Star Wars Outlaws is a hefty 61.86 GB on Xbox Series X|S. Those with limited available space on the internal storage drive are advised to clear up some space in advance. Star Wars Outlaws takes place between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. It follows the story of Kay Vess, a young scoundrel who puts together a team for a major heist to repay a crime syndicate.
