Stellar Blade Director’s Favorite Suit Is Its Most Controversial One

by Salal Awan

Stellar Blade director Kim Hyung Tae recently commented on the topic of his favorite suit in the game, and it appears to be a controversial one.

As we have covered earlier, Stellar Blade had received a demo before its launch that also included a special suit called “Skin Suit.” This showed Eve in a skimpy outfit that outlined her body proportions. It was thus deemed controversial and led to some outcry among the gaming community, but it didn’t stop the developers from putting it in the final game.

While the game was reportedly censored and some of the more explicit suits were edited in a day-one update, Skin Suit was left untouched.

In a recent interview with the game director Kim Hyung Tae, he mentions some of his favorite suits in the game. “I can’t choose one particular cloth because they are all my favorite. However, I really like the basic clothes Eve is wearing because I personally adjusted the design for that, so it is one of my personal favorites, ” said the director.

“The skin suit that Eve is wearing when she takes off other clothes was designed 10 to 15 years, so I personally like that one too but it does not fall under the category of clothes. And I really wish you guys would play Eve with clothes on.”

Stellar Blade has proven to be a bigger hit than Rise of the Ronin, which is another PlayStation console exclusive. While Rise of the Ronin has done well in Japan, Stellar Blade is more of a worldwide success. The game was published by Sony Interactive Entertainment and released exclusively for the PS5.

There are plenty of suits in Stellar Blade and while the Skin Suit is nice to look at, what do you consider your personal favorite? Let us know in the comments below.
