Capcom has released Street Fighter 6 update 1.09 today resolving the communications errors faced by players during matchmaking.
Street Fighter 6 had a scheduled maintenance period to ensure a smooth rollout of the new patch. The maintenance was slated for Thursday, December 7, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. JST, which translates to Wednesday, December 6, from 10:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. PST, and Thursday, December 7, from 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. UTC. During this maintenance window, players were not able to access online content, including Challenges, the Fighting Pass, and the Shop.
The primary purpose of this maintenance was to address and fix communication errors that have been impacting the game.

Capcom recently announced that they will be releasing a season pass for Street Fighter 6, which will include 4 DLC additional fighters. This pass will feature Rashid, AKI, Akuma, and Ed, with two of them already available and the third, Akuma, set to arrive in the coming months.
