Street Fighter 6 Update 1.29 Fixes Drive Rush and Control Issues

by Ali Haider

Street Fighter 6 update 1.29 focuses on refining core combat mechanics, particularly around Drive systems and input responsiveness. Adjustments to Drive Rush and buffer timing aim to restore consistency in wake up scenarios, addressing unintended behavior introduced in a previous update.

The patch also resolves issues tied to Modern controls, ensuring that airborne inputs function correctly during specific interactions. While relatively small in scope, these fixes target high impact mechanics that competitive players are likely to notice immediately.
