The Division 2 Y8S3.3 Update Adds Master Climax Mission and Crossplay Changes

by Ali Haider

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 update Y8S3.3 is now available, introducing the Master Climax Mission, new Exotic Gloves, and several improvements to Conflict. The update also begins preparations for crossplay between PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, although the feature will not become available until November 17. Clan capacity is increasing from 50 to 100 members as part of the transition, while PC leaderboards will reset when players move to the new servers on November 10.

The update also introduces new Combat Marks and Honor Marks in Conflict, updates the Friend Referral rewards, and prepares a Shepherd Event running from November 17 to November 26. Players can earn the Loaded for Bear Exotic Gloves by completing the Master Climax Mission, while several fixes address weapon accuracy, missing blueprints, and Talent behaviour. The Echoes of Central Park DLC also launches on November 3, with further details being shared separately.

  • Clans will automatically migrate when their first member connects to the new Crossplay servers.
  • Places will be reserved for existing Clan members who have not yet joined the new servers.
  • The current plan is for Clan reservations to remain active for three months from their creation.
  • Active reservations guarantee returning members their places.
  • Members whose reservations expire or are removed can still rejoin if space is available.
  • Returning Clan members retain their original ranks, except for Clan Leaders whose reservations have expired.
  • Clan Leaders and Lieutenants with appropriate permissions can remove reservations.

Clan Leadership Changes

  • If the existing Clan Leader joins the new servers first, they retain leadership.
  • If another member joins first, that member becomes the temporary Clan Leader.
  • The original Clan Leader regains leadership when joining, provided their reservation remains active.
  • If the original Clan Leader’s reservation expires, the temporary leader becomes the permanent Clan Leader.
  • Original Clan Leaders returning after their reservation expires can rejoin if space is available but will not automatically regain leadership.
  • Temporary Clan Leaders receive Lieutenant-level permissions.
  • Temporary leaders cannot:

    • Rename the Clan.
    • Demote the original Clan Leader or Lieutenants.
    • Kick the original Clan Leader or Lieutenants.
    • Remove their reservations.
  • Temporary Clan Leaders must transfer leadership before leaving the Clan.

    • Invitations and join requests.
    • Clan caches.
  • Clan Bios will transfer only if the member who originally wrote the Bio is the first to migrate the Clan.

  • Invited friends must play for at least two hours for the referral to count.
