Microsoft has started to tease the Xbox Game Pass March 2019 lineup and updated the official app for Xbox Game Pass with new features.

Last month, there were a couple of high profile releases for Xbox Game Pass that included Crackdown 3, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and Alien Isolation. Microsoft is continuing its trend of releasing these high profile games on their subscription service. There is also a promotion for the subscription service where three months of Xbox Game Pass is being offered for $14.99 with a 50% discount.

Microsoft has updated the Xbox Game Pass app to version 1902.251.227. This update implements some new features like the ability to remote install games to a specific Xbox One console.

  • Select the default Xbox for remote game installation. This can be a non-home Xbox.
  • Installation status notifications are working again! Notifications will only include games you download horn the mobile app.
  • Sort and Filter A-Z lists, Show All lists, and search results
  • See which friends have played a Game Pass game or have a Game Pass subscription.
  • See when games from your Store wish list are available in Game Pass
  • Tell your friends about a game you like
  • Follow Game Pass social channels
  • Bug fixes

Following this, the official social media account has teased a cryptic message, which when encoded by fans, leads to the following text. “March 7th. No Explanation Needed.”

So judging from this, we might be getting an official announcement and confirmation of the Xbox Game Pass March 2019 games lineup on the specified date. Microsoft doesn’t drop all the games on the same date but continues to roll out new release throughout the month.
