September is a big month for Xbox Game Pass especially if you love indies. Microsoft has confirmed the games that are coming to game pass soon.
Microsoft has shared an update on the games that will be added to Xbox Game Pass. This includes more than a dozen different games that cover a diverse range of genres. There are some indies and other big names that are being added to the Game Pass library.
All New Additions To Xbox Game Pass In September
- Flynn: Son of Crimson (Cloud, Console, and PC) ID@Xbox – September 15
- I Am Fish (Cloud, Console, and PC) ID@Xbox – September 16
- SkateBird (Cloud, Console, and PC) ID@Xbox – September 16
- Superliminal (Cloud, Console, and PC) ID@Xbox – September 16
- Aragami 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC) ID@Xbox – September 17
- Lost Words: Beyond the Page (Cloud, Console, and PC) – September 23
- Sable (Cloud, Console, and PC) ID@Xbox – September 23
- Subnautica: Below Zero (Cloud, Console, and PC) ID@Xbox – September 23
- Tainted Grail: Conquest (PC) ID@Xbox – September 23
- Lemnis Gate (Console and PC) – September 28
- Astria Ascending (Cloud, Console, and PC) – September 30
- Unsighted (Console and PC) ID@Xbox – September 30
- Phoenix Point (Console) ID@Xbox – October 1
The one confirmation for the October Game Pass lineup is Phoenix Point. Aside from that, there are plenty of new additions with some indies that are making their debut on the Game Pass subscription. Superliminal, SkateBird, Sable, and I Am Fish are all exciting new indie games coming to the XGP subscription.
Here are the ones that will be removed from the service. Microsoft made a mistake and listed them as leaving on September 31 so don’t pay the date any attention since it is an error.

- Ikenfell (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Night in the Woods (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Kathy Rain (PC)
- Warhammer Vermintide II (Cloud and Console)
We definitely recommend checking out Night in the Woods, which is a great adventure game with a unique twist on the narrative-focused genre.
