Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is out on November 10. The game will come with a day one patch that is roughly 7.4 GB after the latest update.
Ubisoft hasn’t shared any official patch notes for this day one update but we were able to get our hands on the patch notes accessible from the PS4. They mention improved performance and stability in addition to adjusting the balance of the game. There are also some miscellaneous bug fixes without any details on what is fixed by Ubisoft.

The day one patch was estimated to be 2.9 GB but that was updated again with a new patch arriving before the launch of the game. The final update size according to OrbisPatches is roughly 7.4 GB on PS4. It should have a similar size depending on the platform. Xbox One usually has to download a larger update while PC gets smaller patches.

Valhalla is the latest chapter in the Assassin’s Creed universe. It is also the sixth game to launch this generation after Black Flag, Unity, Syndicate, Origins, and Odyssey. The game is set during the Vikings-era where the player will take control of the main character, Eivor, in its quest across the storyline in Valhalla.

The game is confirmed to launch for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It will be available on day one for PS5 and Xbox Series X as well. Those who own a copy of the current-generation version will get a free upgrade to the next-generation version without spending any extra money on it.
