Pokémon GO is getting shiny Burmy and other rare Pokemon. The first-ever evolution event will start on Dec 5 at 4 PM ET and end on Dec 12 at 4 PM ET.
Many new Pokémon are being introduced as part of the event. Eevee, Roselia, Onix, and Burmy are among those included. They can be captured in raids or discovered in the wild. Raids may be used to find Pokémon with unusual evolutions like as Scyther, Togetic, and Lickitung. Burmy, Feebas, and Tyrogue may be obtained by hatching them from the two-kilometer eggs on a regular basis.
You will be able to obtain Sinnoh or Unova Stones as a result of this event. Completing activities throughout the event will earn you rewards. As part of the field research, several key evolution items are also provided. These Evolution items might provide you with a prize.
Burmy will also spawn in the wild shiny for the first time. The Shiny versions of the Burmy and Wormadam vary in that their insect bodies are a tad bluer than the basic ones.
When you evolve your Pokemon, the XP you receive will be quadrupled, and Lure Modules will last an hour instead of 30 minutes.
The Kanto Starter and their evolutions will spawn in the raids, and you will receive five extra raid tickets on December 7 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time. This new event is going to end on Dec 12 at 4 PM ET so make sure to participate in it before it ends.
