Brand new gameplay footage and images have been leaked from the upcoming entry in Activision Blizzard’s popular FPS series, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.

A special event held by the publisher granted NFL team the LA Rams early access to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, through which several gameplay videos and off-camera screenshots have begun showing up on the internet. One such video can be seen below, in which the player can be seen reloading their gun.

One of the images gives an early preview of the game’s multiplayer lobby. NFL player Cameron Dicker originally leaked the picture, but later deleted it from his social media account. The screenshot has since been spread across the internet via eager Call of Duty fans.

Another screenshot has confirmed that the oft-rumored Escape From Tarkov inspired DMZ mode will be available with the game at launch.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is the sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which was released in 2019. On October 25, 2019, the latter was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It is the sixteenth installment in the Call of Duty series and a reboot of the Modern Warfare sub-series.

The previous game took place in a realistic modern-day setting. The campaign featured a CIA officer and British SAS soldiers as they fought Russian invaders and Al-Qatala terrorists alongside rebels from the fictitious country of Urzikstan. The game’s Special Ops mode provided cooperative play missions that followed the plot.

The multiplayer mode allowed for cross-platform multiplayer and cross-platform progression for the first time in the series. It was designed to make the gameplay more tactical, and it contained additional features such as a Realism mode that turned off the HUD and a 64-player version of the Ground War mode. As a post-launch upgrade, Warzone, a free-to-play battle royale mode, was also added to the game.
