Capcom Is Asking For Beta Testers For a New Resident Evil Game

by Salal Awan

Capcom is asking for beta testers for a new RE game that they are planning to test this September. Could this be the rumored Resident Evil 3 Remake?

As spotted by die-hard RE fan Alex Aniel, they have posted a recruitment message for Resident Evil (Bio Hazard in Japan) Ambassador program asking for their help in testing a new game in September.

Here is a translation of the message that Capcom has posted in anticipation of the upcoming beta test.

To all Resident Evil Ambassadors,

Thank you for your patronage regarding the Resident Evil series.

Today, we are letting you know that we are recruiting testers for a game that’s in development!!

We are interested in incorporating the feedback of all Ambassadors into our development, so please read the details below and, if you are interested in participating, click the Entry button.

RE Remake has been widely rumored to be already in development. It shouldn’t be a surprise after the major success of the RE 2 Remake which is continuing to sell well after shipping a record amount of copies.

Capcom is also reportedly working on RE 8 in addition to the RE 3 Remake. Keep in mind that this is all speculation for now and it still needs an official confirmation by Capcom.

This beta test could be unrelated to the RE series as well since this message is for the users who are RE Ambassadors and can beta test a new game. It is never explicitly stated that this could be for Resident Evil, just that those who have played the series can apply for it.
