Cyberpunk 2077 Gets Some Lovely New Screenshots For Gamescom

Cyberpunk 2077 has received a new batch of screenshots form CD Projekt Red during the on-going Gamescom mega event. They give a new overview of Night City.

Cyberpunk 2077 is the next open-world RPG from CD Projekt Red. After the massive success of The Witcher 3, CD Projekt Red has been catapulted into a premium RPG developer and all eyes were on Cyberpunk 2077, which is their new original IP based on the board game by Mike Pondsmith.

The new screenshots shared by CD Projekt Red reveal the life in Night City, the fictional world in Cyberpunk 2077. It shows NPC interactions, enemies, and the open world.

The game is confirmed to launch on April 16, 2020, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. CD Projekt Red has also announced a version for Google Stadia during Gamescom.

The game was shown with a release date during Microsoft’s E3 2019 press conference. Keanu Reeves was revealed as one of the key characters and pre-orders were open for it after the reveal at E3. They will release a gameplay demo after Gamescom ends while it is currently only shown behind closed doors at both E3 and Gamescom.

CD Projekt Red has also confirmed that there won’t be any pre-order bonus for the game since they want everyone to have the same experience and content. You can also grab a free PS4 theme for it which is available on the PlayStation Store.
