Destiny 2 Vow of the Disciple Raid Plagued With Server Issues and Errors

by Salal Awan

Several players are reporting that they are facing server issues and errors when attempting the Destiny 2: Vow of the Disciple raid that launched recently.

Bungie has taken these issues to heart and acknowledged that they are keeping an eye on them. They have issued several responses regarding these problems.

“We’re currently investigating connection issues in the Vow of the Disciple raid, including ANTEATER, GUITAR, and BAT error codes. Stay tuned for updates, ” reads a tweet from the Bungie support page.

“We are currently investigating a rise in error codes and server instability. Players who do not own a Destiny 2 Season or Expansion will begin to see a sign-on queue.”

To address some of the issues, Bungie has been generous and has extended the Contest Mode by an additional 24 hours. It will now end on Monday, March 7, at 10 AM PDT (1800 UTC). This gives the viewers a chance to obtain the Clever Emblem in the game. If you have completed the raid and didn’t get Clever Emblem, you will be able to obtain it at a later date so there is no need to fret over it.

There are also reports that there are fans who have already beaten the raid. So even if you are going through server issues right now, others might be lucky enough to go through this latest raid.
