Elden Ring gameplay trailer footage has started to leak online and rumors suggest that a proper trailer might be dropping soon.
Elden Ring is one of the most anticipated games from Japanese developer From Software. It was first revealed back in 2018 during Microsoft’s E3 press conference, and since then, there has been no major update or gameplay reveal seen for it.
According to a report from VGC, there is a trailer of the game that has off-screen footage and it is being circulated in online chat groups. This trailer is now starting to appear on social media platforms like Twitter.
Judging from the small snippet of footage, it does appear to be genuine and features an open-world that is being marked in the trailer as a brand new fantasy RPG. The footage shows someone riding a horse and slashing at an enemy, while another footage shows a fire-breathing dragon. According to a report, there is approximately two minutes of footage out there featuring the first look at the gameplay of Elden Ring. This is not the first leak from the game either. It was rumored to have been in the polishing stage but due to the impact of COVID-19, the release date might have been affected.
Bandai Namco, who is the publisher behind the game had trademarked “Bandai Namco Next” recently which could be an event similar to State of Play or Nintendo Direct where they could share information on their upcoming projects. They have a new Tales of, a brand new game from Code Vein developers, and Elden Ring among other projects that they can showcase during the event if it ends up happening.
