Square Enix is planning to drop a demo for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth demo on February 6 after the State of Play. Here’s what is included in it.
According to a short preview video that appears to have gone up early on the PlayStation Store, players will be able to get their hands on a demo of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth ahead of its launch on February 29. The description for the video reads: ” Explore the Power of Choice! The Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Demo is out now, allowing you to step into the shoes of either Cloud or Sephiroth during the Nibelheim episode. Uncover the opening chapter of the game’s story and explore the world map. Your Adventure, Your Choice!”
This confirms that the demo covers the Nibelheim episode. Cloud in addition to Sephiroth will be the playable characters in the demo.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth review embargo was also recently confirmed along with the game’s download size and pre-load date. It is launching exclusively for the PS5 on February 29. The demo will be officially revealed and available to download after the State of Play focused on the game scheduled for February 6 at 3:30 PM PT/6:30 PM ET.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is the successor to Final Fantasy VII Remake. While fans had initially assumed that Square Enix would remake the original Final Fantasy VII and closely adhere to its storyline, the remake appears to have diverged significantly from the original, growing in scope as well. It is turning out to be the ultimate Final Fantasy VII game by bringing the original developers and giving them resources to expand the game’s scope.
