Final Fantasy VII Remake Demo Release Date: Here’s When It Might Launch

Final Fantasy VII Remake is getting a demo and this was leaked a while ago, but there is still no official release news for the demo.

Final Fantasy VII Remake demo was leaked through the official PlayStation Store. The game is timed exclusive for the PS4 for one year and even though the full game is still not launching for a few months, the leaked demo had a lot of information that contained final game details including new characters, story content, and music.

After the leak, details about the game including a possible full game script were starting to appear online. All of this has led the fans speculating on a possible release date for the demo which hasn’t been acknowledged in any capacity by Square Enix.

Kinda Funny Games, who are well known in the industry and also covered the Final Fantasy XV launch event, has now shared their upcoming Livestream schedule and while it is not final, they are going to share impressions on the Final Fantasy VII Remake demo next week, as seen on reddit. This schedule is tentative and mostly a placeholder which means it is subject to change but this has led to the speculation that the FFVII Remake demo release date is set for next week.

Sony has announced its PlayStation Plus free games lineup for January and these games will be available for free from the PlayStation Store on Tuesday when the store updates. One of the theories is that the demo might be released around this time along with the free PS Plus games, but nothing is final for now. It is all just rumors and speculation as data miners continued to release new information on Final Fantasy VII Remake through the demo files which are out now.
