One of the prominent titles to be leaving the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalog in March is WWE 2K22. It is a 2022 professional wrestling sports video game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. It is the ninth game released under the WWE 2K label, the twenty-second overall installment of the WWE-themed video game series, and the successor to WWE 2K20 from 2019. It was released on March 11, 2022, for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
MyRISE, the rebranded version of WWE 2K’s MyCareer, emphasised distinct stories for male and female wrestlers. Players can branch into subplots, form alliances, and make enemies with created characters based on their decisions. The Advance Entrance option was eliminated, leaving only the Easy Entrance as a choice when creating a superstar’s custom entrance. 2K Showcase Mode returned as Showcase, featuring cover superstar Rey Mysterio, allowing players to play through the biggest moments of his WWE career.
