Ghost of Tsushima Review Embargo Date Revealed

Ghost of Tsushima review embargo date has been revealed. Here’s when you can expect to see critics giving their opinion on the game.

Sony has been rather lenient when it comes to offering review embargo for their games. These are usually lifted early before the launch of the game itself. In the case of The Last of Us Part 2, the review embargo was lifted a week early, while in the case of Ghost of Tsushima, the embargo has been set for July 14.

The review embargo for Ghost of Tsushima might not be lifted a week earlier like The Last of Us Part 2, but it has been given a few days before the launch. The review embargo is set for July 14 and will be lifted at 7:00 a.m. PST.

Sony has also shared the title screen for the game. Some fans were able to spot a hidden secret in the title screen showing that it is entirely dynamic and changes as the player progresses further in the story.

The game was initially set to launch on Juen 26, 2020. It was later delayed to July 17 while The Last of Us Part 2 was pushed in its place. Both of these games are considered the swan song for the PS4 which will be replaced by Sony’s upcoming PlayStation 5. The next-generation console is out in Holiday 2020 and will support PS4 backward compatibility at launch for games like Ghost of Tsushima and The Last of Us Part 2.

Ghost of Tsushima was developed by Sucker Punch who also worked on and released inFamous Second Son during the launch year of the PS4. This is a brand new IP for them set during the Feudal Japan time period.
