Gran Turismo 7 Review Embargo Details

by Greg Martin

Gran Turismo 7 review embargo details have been shared and we have the date for the lifting of restrictions for the press impressions.

Gran Turismo 7 will be officially out on March 4, 2022. It is being released for both PS4 and PS5. The game was originally set to launch in 2021 but it was delayed to 2022. We have already covered some of the details for the game including its file size, pre-load, and day one patch notes.

While the reviews of the game are not expected to arrive at least two days before its official launch, the press was allowed to share that they have a review copy and will be releasing their reviews once the embargo ends.

If you are here to learn more about the review embargo, it is going to end on March 2, at 3:00 AM PST. The game will be launching on March 4, so there is plenty of time between the reviews and the final launch of the game.

Gran Turismo 7 is the first mainline game in more than a generation. The last major release for the series happened on the PS3 with the launch of Gran Turismo 6. It was also the second game for the PS3 consoles thus there was no major mainline game released for the PS4. Polyphony Digital instead opted to gradually update Gran Turismo Sport which was mostly focused on games as a service model.

Gran Turismo 7 will be available for the PS4 and PS5. It is launching on March 4, 2022, and will be published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
