GTA VI Reveals New Character Profiles and Screenshots, Shedding Light on Vice City’s Criminal Underground

by Ali Haider

Rockstar Games has released a wealth of new information about GTA VI, including fresh character profiles and dozens of new screenshots now available on the game’s official website. These updates follow the release of the game’s second trailer and provide the most comprehensive look yet at the people and places players will encounter when the title launches on May 26, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

At the center of GTA VI are protagonists Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, two individuals drawn together by circumstance and survival. The official story synopsis describes their journey beginning with a heist gone awry, propelling them into a tangled criminal conspiracy that spans the state of Leonida. As they navigate the dangers of Vice City and beyond, Jason and Lucia must rely on one another to survive the increasing stakes of their criminal pursuits.

Jason Duval is depicted as someone who craves an easy life, yet continually finds himself pulled deeper into trouble. Raised around crime and having spent time in the military, Jason ends up working with drug runners in the Florida Keys before crossing paths with Lucia. Their meeting, depending on how events unfold, may be his salvation or his downfall.

Lucia Caminos, on the other hand, is a hardened survivor whose resilience was forged from childhood. Having grown up in Liberty City and later serving time in prison, she emerges determined to turn the odds in her favor.

Supporting the main duo is a diverse and colorful cast that shapes the social and criminal fabric of Leonida. Cal Hampton is introduced as Jason’s tech-savvy but paranoid friend, more comfortable eavesdropping on Coast Guard radio chatter than getting his hands dirty. Meanwhile, Boobie Ike stands out as a Vice City legend who turned his street credibility into a legitimate business empire, overseeing everything from real estate to music.

The music industry also plays a significant role in the setting, with Dre’Quan Priest portrayed as an ambitious former street hustler now seeking success through his label, Only Raw Records. Alongside him are Real Dimez, a bold female rap duo who converted their turbulent past into viral fame and are now banking on a breakout hit to cement their status.

Other noteworthy characters include Raul Bautista, a professional bank robber who thrives on high-stakes jobs and sees potential in risk-takers, and Brian Heder, a veteran smuggler running operations from a beachfront property.

Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch on May 26, 2026, for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
