Metal Gear Solid V and Metal Gear Survive Updated, Here’s What Was Added

by Salal Awan

Konami has updated all of their Metal Gear Solid games that are available on the current-generation consoles. This includes Metal Gear Solid V and Metal Gear Survive.

Konami has updated almost every Metal Gear Solid game today. These updates don’t add any new features or implement any major bug fixes, but they do appear to modify user agreement in the game itself.

Since both MGS V and Metal Gear Survive offer online support, the user agreement is a standard practice from Konami. The new modified user agreement might be due to the change in structure for the company as they had announced recently.

Metal Gear Solid V and Metal Gear Survive Update 1.21 Patch Notes

  • Modification of the Agreement Process

These are the patch notes that are accessible on the PS4. The update has been reported to be just under 500 MB. It will be available to download on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. Just don’t expect to find any new content or a patch to upgrade the game for the PS5. There is no such change included in this update.

While Metal Gear Solid 5 launched back in 2014, the game was followed by a spin-off called Metal Gear Survive that was developed by the ex-developers of MGS5. It failed to gain any traction thus closing the chapter for the Metal Gear Solid series once and for all unless Konami decides otherwise.

If you have downloaded this update and noticed any other changes in the game, please let us know in the comments below. Until there is an official announcement, this is the most that we are going to get out of this new update.
